Chamber Events
Welcome to our Events Calendar and as you can see we are busy planning many Chamber events for the next twelve months. Our aim is to make these events active, informative and entertaining.
Active: To ensure that the Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce has an active voice and role in local, district, county and national matters.
Informative: We plan to arrange a series of business events that will include workshops, networking and key speaker events.
Entertaining: We will continue our monthly "social" meetings and also plan to to arrange special events that will concentrate on raising funds for our adopted charity.

Thursday 25th October 2012 - BilliBiz – The Show
It's back and will be bigger and better than before! The event that every Billingshurst small business and company from the surrounding needs to attend!
The very active Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce is to shine the spotlight on local businesses again with their second Business-to-Business Trade Exhibition and Networking Event that showcases companies from Billingshurst and the surrounding area.
BilliBiz – The Show is to be held at the Billingshurst Community and Conference Centre on Thursday 25th October 2012, from 12pm until 7.30pm, and promises to be packed with exhibitors and stands displaying the vast diversity of businesses the local and surrounding area has to offer.

In accordance with the Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce Constitution, the current Executive Management Committee members have to stand for re-election after one year. Accordingly an Annual General meeting has been called and will be held on Wednesday 18th April 2011 at 6.00pm.
Our intention is for the evening to have a social element with refreshments provided, and a guest speaker.

Thursday 1st March 2012 - Billingshurst Retail Study Stakeholder Workshop

Horsham District Council has commissioned a Study to look at the Jengers Mead and Billingshurst Retail Offer and assess the future possibilities for the retail heart of Billingshurst Village Centre.
The Study will inform the eventual production of a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), which will provide a framework to guide and pro-actively encourage future retail, commercial and leisure development in the Village centre. The team of technical advisors carrying out the Study come from GL Hearn and Allies Morrison Urban Practitioners. (Urban Practitioners recently produced the Future Prosperity of Horsham Study which has been used to guide the Horsham Town Plan SPD - this work can be viewed on the HDC web site).

Monday 27th February 2012 - An Evening with Lindsey Simpson (Billingshurst USP and Business Growth Presentation)
Many of you will know that, funded via West Sussex County Council, Lindsey Simpson has been working with the Community Parnership on the development of a Unique Selling Proposition (U.S.P.) and research into the business base of Billingshurst (RH14 9) and the surrounding hinterland (RH14 0).
On Monday 27th February from 5.30pm at Burdfields Country Market Lindsey will give a presentation of her work.
