A warm welcome from all of us at Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce
We currently represent the interests of over 80 member’s businesses, and welcome new members to join so that we can speak with greater authority, and represent an even larger proportion of the business people in the Billingshurst area.
Having been recently elected Chairman at the AGM in April, I am excited about the opportunity of taking the Chamber forwards over the coming year. We have a really strong team on the Executive Committee with representation from a very broad range of businesses, which makes for a very healthy Chamber.
We have a fantastic schedule of events planned for the coming year, hopefully something of interest to everyone no matter what their business is, and I look forward to meeting as many of our members at them as I can.
The main feature event of the year is once again BilliBiz – The Show. This is our local business trade show which we held for the first time in November 2011. The event was an undoubted success, and with 98% of exhibitors saying they would definitely come and exhibit again we have decided this should become an annual event. The 2012 event is scheduled for Thursday 25th October; further details for which can be found at www.billibiztheshow.co.uk.
Our Chamber is well recognised and respected and this gives us the strength to speak up and to make a difference. Thank you to all those Members who help contribute to the running of the Chamber, its events and for representing us. Without you we would not exist, and thanks to your efforts the Billingshurst business community is united and has a strong voice.
